A Legend Will Emerge: Seamus Sartori Steps Into Legend Cars

A new chapter is about to begin for Sartori Racing Team.For the first time in team history, Sartori Racing Team is preparing to take on Legend Car racing. Seamus “Bullet” Sartori will get behind the wheel of the team’s first Legend Car.After building his experience in quarter midgets, Seamus is ready for a new challenge. The move brings a new machine, more speed, and another step forward in his racing journey.

Meet the New Machine

The newest addition to the Sartori Racing Team stable brings an entirely different kind of racing experience. A Yamaha MT-09 engine provides the power, while the car uses a Big Boy chassis built for competition. Together, the package gives Seamus a much different machine from the quarter midgets where he developed his racecraft. The car will compete in INEX Legend Car racing, opening the door to a new form of competition for both Seamus and Sartori Racing Team. More importantly, the new car represents another opportunity to learn. Each lap will give Seamus valuable experience as he adapts to the increased speed, power, and demands of Legend Car racing.

Bullet’s Next Challenge

Over the past several seasons, Seamus has continued developing his racecraft behind the wheel of quarter midgets. Along the way, he has learned how to find speed, battle through traffic, adapt to changing conditions, and compete under pressure. Now, those skills will face a new test. Moving into a Legend Car requires Seamus to adapt to a larger and more powerful race car. At the same time, he will continue building the consistency and confidence that have defined his progress behind the wheel. Fortunately, the learning process has already begun. After completing two test sessions in the Legend Car, Seamus and the team feel confident about taking the next step. Those sessions provided valuable track time and gave the team an opportunity to become more familiar with the car before competition begins.

September 5 — Colorado National Speedway

The wait won’t be long. Sartori Racing Team plans to bring its first Legend Car to Colorado National Speedway on September 5. There, Seamus will take the next step in his racing journey and Sartori Racing Team will begin its first chapter in Legend Car competition.
